Kim Young

Kim is a graduate from The University of Central Lancashire having studied a degree in Law and Criminology. Kim also attended The College of Law School in Chester prior to embarking upon her legal career.
Kim was recruited by Cobleys LLP in 2010 as an Associate Solicitor within the Family Department and has always had a passion for this area of law. Kim has also undertaken family law work in other local firms.
Kim’s clients appreciate her caring and understanding approach to very difficult and emotional situations. Kim always strives to obtain the best outcome for clients and promotes a non confrontational approach to resolving matters amicably. Kim is also a member of Resolution.
Kim has been qualified as a solicitor since 2009 and has specialised in family matters since 2007. Kim’s particular areas of interest include Care Proceedings, Contact, Residence, Separation, Cohabitee disputes, Divorce, Civil Partnerships, Domestic Violence and Injunctions.
Kim represents clients at Court undertaking her own Advocacy.
Kim also volunteers her services at the Liverpool University Law Clinic, Citizens Advice Bureau and projects involving women who are the subject of domestic violence.
Away from the office, Kim regularly enjoys horse riding and socialising with her wide network of friends.
